Peter joined Spencer Stuart in 1985 and is active in the Financial Services, Private Equity and Board Services practices.
He conducts international searches and succession planning projects for domestic and international clients in banking, treasury, investment and merchant banking, capital and equity markets and fund management, including family offices. He has also worked for financial and industry associations and regulators.
Assignments include finding chief executives, board members for quoted and private financial and non-financial companies, CFOs, division heads and product or sector specialists. He has concluded numerous benchmark compensation studies for banks, covering both board and executive positions. He has extensive experience with cross border assignments in Europe, the Far East and North America.
Peter has worked in the search industry since 1977, pioneering the consultative approach to executive search. He previously worked in the property investment and development division of Rank Organisation as a Lloyds broker with Hogg Robinson Group.
