A member of the Board Services, CFO, Industrial and Consumer Goods & Services practices, Carlo Corsi joined Spencer Stuart in 1995. Carlo serves as the firm’s country manager for Italy and as chairman of the Italy business. He is a former member of the Spencer Stuart board of directors, where he served on the Audit Committee.
Carlo specializes in recruiting CEOs, COOs, CFOs and general managers. Among his main clients are the Finmeccanica, Telecom Italia, Intesa Sanpaolo and Generali Groups.
Prior to Spencer Stuart, Carlo gained a thorough understanding of sales and marketing through 25 years of experience in the durable goods sector within the Zanussi-Electrolux Group. Subsequently, at Seleco and Brionvega, leaders in the production of electronic consumer goods, he was general manager and, ultimately, managing director.
Carlo earned a bachelor’s degree in law from “La Sapienza” University in Rome. He served in the Italian Army and is a Captain of the Carabinieri Corps. He is also a Knight of Magistral Grace of the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights of Malta and a Colonel of the Italian Army of the SMOM Military Order, which is engaged in humanitarian projects. A native speaker of Italian, Carlo also speaks English.
