Ignacio Maza has a degree in law and economics from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3) and an M.B.A. from I.E.S.E. Business School in Barcelona. He speaks Spanish, English and French. In 1982 Ignacio began his professional career in Bowden Espana as head of administration. In 1985 he joined Continental Illinois National Bank in Madrid in the corporate finance team. From 1987 to 1995 he held the position of head of structured finance and special financing for Banque Indosuez.
In 1995 Ignacio joined the Spanish team of Spencer Stuart in Madrid. He is a member of the firm's Financial Services Practice.
In 1988 Ignacio was appointed associate professor of management control and accounting in the M.B.A. program of the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.
