Ricardo Rocco manages Spencer Stuart’s operations in Brazil and leads Latin America Consumer Goods & Services, where he specializes in assignments in the consumer products and retail industries. Based in São Paulo, Ricardo has conducted numerous searches for presidents, general managers, and marketing and sales directors in Brazil, Argentina and other countries in Latin America. He also participates in cross-border searches for global clients.
Before joining Spencer Stuart, Ricardo spent 12 years as the Latin American regional leader for the consumer and life sciences practices of another leading international search firm. Prior to entering the executive search industry, he led Schering-Plough’s Consumer Health business unit in Brazil, with P&L responsibility for the consumer personal care and nonprescription drug businesses. Previously, Ricardo served for a decade at Johnson & Johnson in various operations, human resources and marketing roles. He has worked in the U.S. and Brazil.
Ricardo holds a B.S. in Mechanical Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Technológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) and a postgraduate degree in business from Fundaçáo Getúlio Vargas. He is fluent in English and Portuguese and communicates well in Spanish.
