Olof Pripp leads Spencer Stuart's Information Officer Practice in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. He specializes in international searches for senior chief information officers and heads of operations as well as technology industry executives.
With more than 20 years of experience, Olof brings a deep and unique blend of business, leadership and information technology insight and experience from working with many of the world’s most prominent corporations. Following a successful build-up of the first European high tech industry practice for Price Waterhouse, he subsequently took on the responsibility for PwC’s global technology industry practice. He later became a member of the IBM Business Consulting senior leadership team. More recently, Olof has managed the EMEA CIO search practice for another global retained search firm, where he completed a number of chief information officer searches around the world.
During his career, he has authored and contributed to several white papers on the high tech industry challenges. He also has acted as a lead moderator at numerous round-tables, including the PwC technology industry luncheon during the World Economic Forum in Davos and the annual PwC TechCEO event. He is also a member of the board of directors for iPass.
Olof holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and economics from Uppsala University, Sweden as well as a building engineering degree from John Ericssonsskolan, Sweden. He speaks English, French and Swedish.
