Gianluca is a member of the Industrial and Life Sciences practices, and works in both the Milan and Rome offices. During his first two years with Spencer Stuart, Gianluca managed selector Europe, Italy, a division dedicated to middle management and specialized in recruiting and selecting young high-potential managers.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in October 2005, Gianluca spent more than 15 years with a leading European firm focused on hiring middle managers. There, he was responsible for the main Italian office in Milan, with more than 15 consultants. In this role, he operated mainly in the life sciences and consumer goods sectors, while building on his competencies in all functional roles.
Gianluca developed projects in recruitment and selection at all levels, including board directors and senior-level executives, and was responsible for the implementation of people development and team development services such as assessment, coaching, competency analysis and team building, in Italy. Gianluca began his career at an advertising firm, where he was responsible for the administrative and reporting department.
Gianluca has a university degree in industrial science, with a major in business. He speaks English and Italian.
