Connaught Place is close to Marble Arch, at the bottom of the Edgware Road, on the west side, running parallel with the Bayswater Road. This is a pedestrian-only entrance but there is vehicle access from Stanhope Place.

Parking: Pay & Display parking is available for a limited time (2 hour maximum) in Connaught Place. If longer parking is required there are NCP car parks under Hyde Park or in Kendal Street or Bryanston Street. Congestion Charge Zones should be checked if you wish to avoid them.

Nearest underground station is Marble Arch (on the Central Line).

ON FOOT

Connaught Place has a wide pedestrian entrance close to the Marble Arch end of the Edgware Road. Buses to Paddington station stop outside and buses from Paddington stop opposite. 16 Connaught Place is a brick building on the north side of the Place and Spencer Stuart is on the ground floor.

From Marble Arch 'Tube' station take the exit to the right of the ticket barriers and turn right at street level (Oxford Street). Cross Great Cumberland Place and at Edgware Road cross the dual carriageway at the lights. Turn right up Edgware Road. On your left is the pedestrian entrance to Connaught Place. No 16 is on the right hand side.

BY CAR: HEAD FOR CENTRAL LONDON

South approach: Up Park Lane (A4202), following the road (Cumberland Gate) bearing right round Marble Arch and take the third exit left up the Edgware Road (A5). Take the first turning on the left into Seymour Street, then left into Stanhope Place and left again into the entrance of Connaught Place. Number 16 is the first building on the left.

North approach: Down the Edgware Road (A5) to Marble Arch. Seymour Street is the last cross road before Marble Arch. Turn right at the traffic lights then, as above, turn left and left again.

East approach: An easterly approach is not possible via Oxford Street as private vehicles are barred during the day. Take the A501 Euston Road, becoming the Marylebone Road, and turn left as directed to Marble Arch and the West End. Proceed as above.

West approach: Vehicles approaching from the West may either drive along the Bayswater Road (A40) from Notting Hill Gate and Holland Park, turning left into the Edgware Rd at Marble Arch, or take the Westway (M40 extension) turning off at the sign for Paddington and Marble Arch. Follow the signs for Marble Arch and turn into the Edgware Road, turning right into Seymour Street at the last traffic lights before Marble Arch.

FROM TRAIN STATIONS/AIRPORTS

Heathrow Airport: Paddington /Heathrow Express (travel time approx 20 mins); or the Piccadilly Line underground to Hyde Park Corner (travel time approx. 45 mins).

Gatwick Airport: main line train to Victoria (frequent service, travel time approx. 35 mins).

City Airport: water taxi to Westminster Pier or black cab. Journey time varies depending on traffic, at least one hour.

St Pancras International: (Eurostar terminus) taxi to office.

Connaught Place is an easy taxi ride from most of the major train stations apart from Liverpool Street when it is quicker and easier to take the Central Line underground to Marble Arch. Paddington Station is a short distance away and the No. 36 bus from Praed Street (in front of the station) to the last stop in the Edgware Road (before Marble Arch) will take 5 to 8 minutes. The No. 36 also comes past Victoria Station (bus stop in Wilton Road or Grosvenor Gardens), and the first bus stop in the Edgware Road (Marble Arch) is exactly at the pedestrian entrance of Connaught Place. The journey time is about 10 to 12 minutes.
