Spencer Stuart and London Business School announce Sloan scholarship for top woman business leader

November 2004

London Business School has teamed up with Spencer Stuart and Saatchi & Saatchi to offer a fully-funded Sloan Fellowship scholarship to the female executive deemed to best exemplify what constitutes a great woman leader.

The internationally renowned Sloan Fellowship, designed for already-successful high achievers in their thirties and forties, has a strong reputation of attracting high-ranking women, representing every career sector and function.

As part of its commitment to equipping more women with the skills required to become global business leaders, Spencer Stuart will provide the scholarship winner with career guidance and mentoring.

Ahead of the launch in London on 23 November, Spencer Stuart is inviting business leaders to nominate their female role models in business and to describe the qualities critical to successful women business leaders. This feedback will be shared at the launch and subsequently on this web site. It will also help Spencer Stuart, LBS and Saatchi & Saatchi determine the scholarship criteria and refine the subsequent selection process.

The Sloan Fellowship leadership programme is a one-year MSc in management. This qualification is taught only at the London School of Business, MIT and Stanford.
